NVIDIA Project Shield: 5-inch gaming console to Android

Another feature of the Tegra 4 has enhanced opportunities for photographers. The new processor is capable of doing HDR-pictures (images with high dynamic range), which will provide them with a better quality.

In addition, Nvidia claims that Tegra 4 consumes 45% less energy compared to previous generation chip, under standard operating scenarios. This is partly achieved through the Prism 3 technology, which reduces power consumption of the display illumination while maintaining high visual quality.

Saves battery power helps an additional fifth core - a decision the same processor Tegra 3, which also has five cores.
