Apple declares war on password entering and does what
soon-we are sure will become a standard in the industry telephone the future: a
fingerprint sensor ! His name is "Touch ID" and hides under the Home
button of the iPhone 5S. One touch to authenticate their identity and leave behind
code numbers and passwords more complex.
The uses of the Touch ID are limited for now to unlock phone
and authentication on the iTunes Store to purchase apps, music, books and more.
The sensor will recognize any of our fingers previously recorded - up to 5
different - in any orientation you the hillocks. We hoped in the publication of
APIs specifically for the integration of the sensor in the third-party app, or
even in supporting online passwords stored on iCloud, but still no news about
it leaked.
The fingerprint sensor digital is the result of collaborations
and acquisitions with companies specialized in this field and is today an
elaborate piece of electronics, only on smartphones today. It consists of a
sapphire glass cover, a metal ring, and a sensor ultra resolute.
