Despite the fact that the release of an 8-core processors FX series we did not wait for this year (the company decided to move safely release at the beginning of 2012), managed to open some of the secret plans of AMD, according to which the company plans to manufacture 10 nuclear processors in the next year.
Heir future processors FX-Series (codenamed Zambezi ) known as Komodo. It should be the first AMD processor which is endowed with ten x86 cores. Of course, we have heard of Komodo in the last year, but then it was only about 8 cores.
"New" Komodo uses 10 cores Piledriver (2.0 Bulldozer?), has support for the Turbo Core 3.0, built-in memory controller for DDR3 and socket will use the FM2. Komodo produce 32nm process technology will be on, and it will become part of the platform Corona (with chipset Hudson D4, which offers native support for four USB 3.0 and eight SATA 6.0 Gbps ports).
In addition to AMD's roadmap Komodo offers information about APU Trinity and Wichita , which will take the initial and middle price segments in desktop computers. Trinity will replace the currently existing processors A-Series (Llano), and Wichita will, in turn, the receiver E-Series (Zacate). Trinity will be based on 32nm process technology and Wichita on 28nm.
