In the last five years we have seen a sharp increase in
injuries on the playground: the number of children admitted to hospital after
falling and other accidents has increased by a third. In 2011, the British
hospital received 9.564 of injured children at the sites, in 2006, that number
was only 7.232 - Daily Mail writes, citing a study of British doctors.
Specialists tend to associate this disturbing trend with the
spread of smartphones. Just five years ago, Apple released the first iPhone,
which has led to more frequent accidents involving children, say British. Parents
walking with your child, have become more distracted and less carefully
watching their sons, and children have been known to doctors react to the
weakening of parental attention - they begin to behave less cautiously - the
researchers suggest.
In this regard, physicians recommend a closer look after
children while on the playground and less actively use a smartphone at this
time.
