The alternative launcher for Android smartphones are already well-established and diverse, which with its wide range of choice is able to meet most users' needs, but unfortunately the same can not be said on the tablet side, where the interfaces alternatives designed and optimized for these devices are not so numerous, that's why we look with pleasure on projects such as Chameleon.
The idea behind the launcher is that we often need to run groups of applications depending on the place or time where we are and of course we do not expect these apps are the same whether it's noon and we are in the office, or if are 23 and we're going to sleep. Chameleon can then pre-set a series of home screen to activate depending on the time or our position, which will also be automatically triggered based on the location of the GPS or wireless network connection to some.
To do this there are also a number of widgets for the services most famous and used (Facebook, Twitter, Nextflix, Instagram, Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Weather, Media Player, RSS reader), that blend well with the launcher same and that can be easily sized and positioned anywhere on the screen.
