Sony has officially announced Android-smartphone Xperia sola - a simplified version of the flagship S model Xperia . In terms of design innovation is similar to the older model, except for the lack of a transparent strip under the screen. In hardware terms the differences are much greater: the display of smaller, weaker processor and a camera is more modest.

Contactless technology is Sony floating touch, first introduced in the smartphone Xperia sola, allows you to navigate through a Web browser, without touching the screen with your finger and dragging it over the screen like a mouse. Two NFC-tags Xperia SmartTags, supplied, to simplify the daily tasks. Tags can be configured to run up to 10 different commands. Initially, one of the labels programmed for use in the living room - it includes Wi-Fi and runs the Google application to view news and weather. The second tag is designed for the bedroom - it allows you to activate the alarm and silent mode.
New product will be available in the second quarter in black, white and red color options. The first time the unit will be supplied with the operating system Android 2.3, but the manufacturer promises to release the upgrade to Android 4.0 over the summer.
