Download iOS 6 Beta 2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

As expected, Apple released the second beta version of the operating system iOS 6.0. Firmware update is aimed at correcting existing errors in the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Apple Developers can download the second beta of iOS 6 for the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 3, iPad 2 and iPod touch 4G right now.

New build at number 10A5338d implemented as a 14 builds for different models of iOS-devices, including set-top box Apple TV. It is also reported that the assembly iOS 6 beta 2 is quite crude, so it is recommended only for testing applications. Before installing it is recommended to backup the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Apple has not revealed the features of the firmware, but now it is known that during the update icon in the gear appeared animation. Other changes in iOS 6 beta 2, see  here .

Mapping “spy planes” Apple and Google have caused concern among U.S. authorities

U.S. authorities have expressed concern about the "spy" aircraft, which Google and Apple used to create 3D-maps. Sen. Charles Schumer wrote a letter to both corporations, in which he stated that they were "highly sensitive equipment for aerial photography" may violate the right of Americans to privacy.

At Google, on this occasion said that none of the measures referred to Schumer, the measures have not yet applied, but the company was willing to discuss this issue with the senator. Reaction of Apple is not reported.

The plans provide access to the 3D-maps Google and Apple announced in early June. The first three-dimensional maps of several cities in the U.S. will come in the IV quarter and year end the company expects the Internet to obtain detailed images of settlements with a population of 300 million people. Apple opens the users access to new mapping technology with the release of iOS 6. Presumably, the appearance of the final version of the system will be timed to start selling next-generation iPhone, whose output is expected this fall.

Compatible with iOS 6 iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in one table

At the Worldwide Developers Conference WWDC 2012 during the presentation of six iOS Apple representatives expressed support for all mobile devices, however, as we found out , things were not quite so.

 

For example, view maps in 3D-mode and auto-negotiation - one of the main innovations of the platform - will be available only to owners and iPad iPhone 4S second and third generation.
