New evidence on the two-mode iPhone 5

Frankly, the rumors that the next generation iPhone will be able to work not only in GSM, and CDMA, go for a long time. However, until recently, no one could cite any evidence that would prove that this smartphone really bimodal. But the situation seems to be beginning to be understood. According to Mac Rumors, such evidence has been found in the report of a single application, which is still undergoing testing on the iPhone 5.

According to one developer for the iPhone 5, this application contains two sets of codes - MNC (Mobile Network Codes) and MCC (Mobile Country Codes). These codes are used to identify the mobile operators. Incidentally, in this application are the codes used Verizon Wireless and AT & T.

It is also worth recalling that the iPhone 4 for Verizon Wireless has a wireless module Qualcomm MDM6600 (pictured), which supports both standard communications - GSM and CDMA. At the time, chief financial officer, Verizon also has publicly stated that the iPhone 5 will work in any of all the existing mobile networks in the world.
