[Samsung Version] Why Samsung did not use Retina-Display

The quality and characteristics of the display - the most important feature of today's mobile devices. When you select gadgets for everyday use consumers sometimes even less concerned about the software, rather than the possibility of their screens.
It is known that the main supplier of Retina-displays for the iPad tablet is a third generation Korean Samsung, which at the same time - one of Apple's main rivals in the mobile market. The question arises: why Samsung did not release a tablet on Android, which will display the same super shine as the new iPad?

According to Samsung, the company does not rely on LCDs, although it has a good base for the production of such components. The main reason, according to its representatives, is that Samsung is the only manufacturer in the world that produces screens based on the Super AMOLED technology on a massive scale.

While such displays have disadvantages compared to LCD rivals, excellent brightness, contrast, good visibility in direct sunlight and low power consumption makes a good alternative SAMOLED LCD screens, including Apple Retina, says Samsung.

Currently the company is going to release a new line of "Super-Amoled" who can compare with the Retina-screen pixel density. This means that Koreans again try to overtake its U.S. rival by offering a series of gadgets with similar characteristics, but operating on the basis of the operating system Android.
