Samsung launches world's thinnest external optical drive SE-218BB

Samsung Electronics has introduced a slim external optical drive with recording function slim DVD, which the manufacturer calls the thinnest in the world. As stated, the device is 14 mm thick, were designated SE-218BB, well suited for use with ultrabook and tablets.

As for speed, the device works with a CD-ROM and CD-RW at up to 24x, writes DVD ± R media and DVD + RW at up to 8x, DVD ± R DL and DVD-RW - 6x, DVD-RAM - 5x .
Sales SE-218BB has already begun for a suggested price of $ 60.
