January 9, 2007 the company Apple has released a new "revolutionary communication device": a widescreen iPod, Internet and mobile device touch screen phone. Many people embraced iPhone is very ambiguous. One of the companies, which expressed skepticism about the phone with a touchscreen, a web-corporation Google.
In May 2007, 5 months after presentation, Apple-Communicator, Google still did not believe that the touch screen mobile phones will be able to completely replace mechanical keys.

According to the original specification of the platform Google Android, an excerpt from a published edition of The Verge, «the new mobile platform will support touch screens, but the devices will be equipped with a mechanical keyboard because the touch screen can not replace them completely."

Four years later, the third "google phone" -  Samsung Galaxy Nexus - was completely devoid of mechanical buttons on the front side. Function keys, which were previously located under the display, the new models have been moved on the screen and began to touch.

Thus, with an eye on the iPhone almost all manufacturers have phased out their PDA stylus in favor of the fingers, gave his huge touch-screen devices, and eventually gave up the last of mechanical buttons.
