Nokia and Samsung will answer to the iPhone 5 smartphones based on Windows Phone 8

Nokia introduced a new generation of smart phones on the Nokia World 2012 event to be held September 5-6 - one week before the expected date of presentation of the iPhone 5, Bloomberg reported, citing sources who wished to remain anonymous.
 
In the upcoming devices will be used by the platform WindowsPhone 8 . The new operating system based on the same core technologies, and desktop that Windows 8 provides support for multicore processors, memory cards MicroSD, NFC technology and displays up to 1280 × 768 pixels. The structure of the OS includes the Internet Explorer browser 10 and improved mapping application with the ability to work in the offline mode.

Nokia announces new Windows-smartphones for a few days before the anticipated debut of the next generation iPhone, scheduled for September 12. In stores Nokia phones will go before the season of Christmas sales.

Samsung has also become one of the first companies to release a smartphone based on Windows Phone 8. According to some reports the Korean vendor is preparing two models under the code name Odyssey and Marco. According to preliminary data, both devices operate on the basis of dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, and have the support of network standards, LTE and HSPA +.

Samsung Odyssey, seems to be the leader - it is equipped with 4.65-inch display with HD-resolution (1280x720 pixels). Also in the arsenal contains an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, support for NFC. Samsung Marco will receive a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels, 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

Which model will present in September, Nokia, is not yet known. Presumably they could be Lumia 910 and Lumia 1001, which is not so long ago, was mentioned in rumors, but their performance while concealed mystery.
