Apple is developing a headset with a built-in player, said the publication Wired, citing a patent for the company. The document made public last week United States Patent and Trademark Office U.S., describes a compact accessory that combines the instrument of communication and media player.
As planned by engineers, modern Bluetooth-headset can be equipped with not only a microphone, speaker, battery and chip wireless communication module and flash memory that will store your music. The device described in the new Apple patent titled «Wireless Headset With Integrated Media Player».
The gadget is capable of playing multimedia files of various formats, including MP3, as well as to serve as recorder. Built-in miniature information display and control buttons allow to switch tracks, switch on and off the music. It is assumed that the accessory can be supported by voice control.
To communicate with a computer and recharging the battery is supposed to use USB-connector. Bluetooth-headset with built-in media player can have both mono and stereo performance.
This patent could get the implementation in the next generation of iPod players and accessories for smart phones iPhone, the newspaper notes.
