Processor, more system on a chip, will be released on 28 nm
process technology and include two computing cluster. The first will operate at
1.8 GHz, has a capacity of second-level cache and 2 MB to target
high-performance mobile applications, and the second has a frequency of 1.2 GHz
and will be used during normal user mode.
According to the publication, depending on the task at the
operating system can automatically switch between the clusters and not spend
extra energy where it is not needed (eg, for listening to music). Similarly,
running NVIDIA Tegra 3, but there are four main and one auxiliary kernel.
Big.little concept of ARM involves collaboration cores on
32-bit architectures, A7 and A15. According to the developers, it offers even
more benefits than originally expected, and can be quite common, especially in
smartphones.
However, the 8-core processing is unlikely to appear in the
new flagship Samsung Galaxy S IV. It is assumed that the first company to equip
their top plates. Besides the announcement of the next Galaxy, is expected to
take place at the MWC 2013, by which time Samsung will not have time to mass
