Hard Disk Market: SSD prices in freefall

From the site techreport emerges an interesting analysis on the price of SSD. While those of the hard disk rotary refuse to move after the floods, which last year hit production facilities in Thailand, the market for solid-state hard drive (SSD) instead has a much brighter future thanks to technology, Nand Flash becomes more accessible.
From the graphs shown on the site we can see that the trend is a continuous drop in prices to a minimum of $ 1 a gigabyte. Now for example some graphs:

Speaking of OCZ for example, we can see how the prices compared to March of 2011 have fallen by almost half (3 Vertex 240GB model), a trend that is so much hope for a further reduction.

Corsair has seen lower prices instead of their Force Series GT by more than half, especially for models with 240 GB.

Let us finally to Intel with 520 units, models that have recently seen the light, but which amounted to around 350, 200 and $ 100 respectively for models 240, 120 and 60 GB. Here the drop is less obvious but completely normal view of the "age" of these units compared to other models. We thus hope that this trend is confirmed and the SSD can reach all types of users.  By
