With the announcement of the creation of a Mediatek
processor with 8-core technology big.LITTLE MP , Samsung does not want
to stay behind and, according to sources, would already Octa Core processor
enables true. As many will know, the current generation Exynos big.LITTLE Octa
uses technology that allows you to take advantage of 4 processor Cortex A7 and 4
processors Cortex A15 in different ways. They can not all work together but in
fact less powerful CPUs are used when the demands are few and if it increases
the load are activated core A15.
With the use of big.LITTLE MP processors can be used all
together and Mediatek announced a real 8 core Cortex A7 able to work
simultaneously all 8 processors. A further step forward that Samsung will not
miss. Obviously, the future of the Korean manufacturer Octa will be much more
powerful than Mediatek as it uses more powerful processors and better
technologies. Certainly think of a real 8-core could be almost exaggerated but,
you know, every year there must always be an important generational leap in
2015 and a similar processor could be used on the Galaxy S5 or Note 4.
