Company OmniVision announced two 16-megapixel sensor that can be used in future versions of smartphones and tablets from Apple.
New sensors OV16820 and OV16825 use proprietary technology OmniBSI-2, which provides for the pixel diameter of 1.34 micron and allow you to shoot video mobile Quad Full HD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 fps and 4608 x 3456 pixels at 30 frames per second ( fps). OmniVision OV16820 Option is designed for use in digital cameras and camcorders, and the model OV16825 is specially designed for smartphone-class Hi-End. Both sensors have the support of modern technology Backlight OmniBSI-2.
