The ECS will support AMD Motherboards Memory Profile

ECS has announced to be the first manufacturer to implement on their motherboards support technology AMD Memory Profile (AMP). This new feature designed by AMD, which is reminiscent of the XMP from Intel, will optimize the performance, compatibility and efficiency of DDR3 platforms for the next generation. The 'company has worked closely with AMD and, according to earlier statements, will provide users with outstanding performance and ability to operate at very high frequencies limiting consumption.

The first to benefit from the AMP board is ECS ' A85F2-A Deluxe , then follow this new model, which surely will come with DDR3 memory kits optimized for the new technology. We think that with the new FX series processors (8300) we will see the first high-end solutions with frequencies that can compete with Intel Ivy Bridge.

Watching those first screenshot BIOS can not confirm the similarity between the AMP and XMP technology, when you enable the feature loads a default profile that, according to the model, automatically sets frequency, voltage and timing.
