Amazon Kindle has Paperwhite, the eReader brighter than ever!

Today's event in Santa Monica, Amazon has introduced its new line of Kindle eReaders and tablets. The first product was the terminus on the stage next to CEO Jeff Bezos was the Kindle Paperwhite, a new eReader that brings new "light" to the popular range of devices offered by the company. The recipe for success lies in the e-ink display with 1024 × 768 pixels and 6-inch capacitive touch-sensitive, with sharper contrasts but a minimum energy consumption. The brightness of the screen but does not tire of reading, as opposed to normal LCD, thanks to a patented technology from Amazon and implemented on the top layer of the screen. To improve the sharpness of the characters, the pixel density is finally been increased by 62% from 160 to 212 ppi.

The body of the device assumes a dark gray color while the Home button is removed, while the power button and the mini USB port are on the bottom of the device.
 
Prices and availability dates communicated by Amazon during the event pertaining exclusively to the U.S. market: the Kindle Paperwhite can be ordered from today at a price of $ 119 version only Wi-Fi and $ 179 with "Free 3G" free over 100 countries, pending shipments that will begin on October 1.
 
Amazon also is introducing a new and improved version of the classic Kindle , available for $ 69 from September 14 in the U.S.. The improvements are limited to the software department and include new fonts, text sharper and page scrolling speed increased by 15%.
