Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit: unlock bootloader, root, and restore the stock version with a click

A growing set of tools to modify the Samsung Nexus Galaxy , the current flagship operating system Android. Root Toolkit includes some features that make it very simple to perform tasks such as unlocking the device or 'acquisition of root permissions .

The application includes two functions :

  • Unlock Root +, which allows to obtain the release of the bootloader and gain root permissions
  • Unroot + OEM Lock, which allows you to bring the smartphone to the stock version, eliminating the root or "re-lock" the bootloader
The positive note is that the operations described above can be accomplished very quickly through the software interface and require only one click . The tool also includes both the drivers already, is to install the SDK on your PC .

The only thing that remains to be done to proceed after you install any custom ROM for the installation of a modified recovery, whatever it was the Root Toolkit does not perform, but that can be done easily after unlocking the bootloader.

When the Root toolkit dedicated to the Galaxy Nexus is only available for the LTE version of the smartphone marketed by Verizon. The developer however has already indicated that it is working to establish a version of the toolkit dedicated to the GSM version of the Samsung Nexus Galaxy . We will continue this project with interest in Segura awaiting a release for use with our Galaxy Nexus.
