Battery Drain and Android applications: one in four has a negative effect

Although the news is certainly not new and we talked in the past, comes a new study from Purdue University who leads again to the fore the problem of optimization of applications and abnormal consumption of the battery. It's no secret that the programs that have a negative influence on consumer advertising in the device we are using.

 

The problem is not optimal in the management of the API by the developers of the software. The bug would be so widespread that, according to Purdue University on 4 application would be guilty of an abnormal lowering of the battery. Not all programs obviously affect equally and the sensors that are used affect more or less heavily on the autonomy of the overall device.
