Samsung S2 Galaxy won the award for "Best Smartphone" at the Global Mobile Awards

Samsung was awarded the Mobile World Congress 2012  by GSMA (Global Mobile Awards) as "Producer of the Year" , the most prestigious award in the mobile industry and also with the  Galaxy S2 has been awarded "Best Smartphone" in the category of mobile devices.

Beating competitors like iPhone 4S , Nokia 800 and Lumia Galaxy Nexus , the jury called it "a phenomenal success around the world," demonstrating the maturity of the ecosystem Android and the continuing trend of positive sales after nearly a year after its release on mercato.v
