Update available for LG Optimus Dual V20Q with much news!

LG has just announced that a new update for Optimus Dual . This is the version already anticipated a few days ago and V20Q that brings many bug fixes, improved stability and other news.

Please note that there is a new bugfix version for Optimus Dual V20q (P990).This version corrects some anomalies in V20l, adds new features like video chat with Google Talk and generally improves the performance of the product.

We apologize for the spread of the timing of this release bugfixes, mainly due to the desire to provide software that was as reliable as possible. LG wishes to thank all the owners of LG Dual Optimus who patiently waited for this update and in particular users of the forum and the Facebook page for the active cooperation and advice given to make an Optimus Dual product even more powerful.

Before proceeding with the upgrade recommend making a backup of personal data as is necessary at the end of the update procedure, manual reset of the product from the privacy menu.

Follow the instructions carefully and remember that the bar "progress download or install software" may not be uniform, and thus be locked when in fact apparently the update is progressing.

Through FOTA Client pre-installed in the terminal:

Connect your smartphone to a WiFi hotspot
Go to the menu: Settings - About phone - Software Upgrade - Upgrade Examine SW
Recall that in the first case is downloaded from the net the entire software package, while clients through FOTA only the delta between the two versions, then a few Megabytes.
Always do a restore of the phone after installing the new software:
Menu - Settings - Privacy - Factory data reset.
