Windows 8: the D-Day is set for October 26

The president of the Windows Steven Sinofsky announced the exact release date for the platform at a meeting of Microsoft's sales.

On October 26 will begin selling Windows 8, and existing users on the same date will be available to upgrade to a new operating system with the three previous versions of Windows (XP, Vista and Windows 7) valued at $ 40.
