Qualcomm introduces its quad-core SoC with Adreno 320 GPU: APQ8064 is his name

During Uplinq developer's conference , Qualcomm has introduced some new features that define the future of its mobile chipsets. We know that the company is currently working well in the states representing the technology often chosen for high-end LTE devices with its dual core MSM8960 SoC.
Qualcomm does not intend to limit itself to dual-core and takes out his trump card by presenting APQ8064 , his chip quad-core line of pro S4, introducing the new GPU called Adreno 320 . The cpu provides 4 cores Krait to 1.5 GHz at full speed while in the case of only one active core clock will increase to 1.7 GHz. Qualcomm SoC brings this new manufacturing process to 28 nm ahead of the competition with the benefits that such soluzine bring in terms of performance and greater energy efficiency.

Adreno 320 will also be used for the solution dual core currently in use MSM 8960. You can not currently envisage a performance comparison with rival Nvidia in mobile computing. An interesting video demo has been shown to give an idea of the solution combined with quad-core Adreno 320.
As you can see in the demo are full screen effects of realistic water, fire, multiple light sources and complex particle effects showing not only the potential of the GPU, but it is emphasized that the solution quad-core effects are clear in the image enhancement and overall performance in the field of gaming.

The integration of radio and other components together to processor production at 28 nm Qualcomm makes the proposal attractive from a performance standpoint and we're curious to see it in the next-generation devices. We know how Snapdragon processors will be the safe choice in the new Windows Phone 8 , but we will see developments in the top range definitely on Android. by
