Samsung brings to the CES prototype smartphone with flexible display [photo]

Samsung introduced at CES 2013, held these days in Las Vegas, a prototype phone with a flexible touch screen technology with OLED.

The new phone sports a curved from one side of the front panel, which gave it a very distinguished look. A received additional strip on the screen is used to show the various notifications: text messages, alerts, calls, stock quotes and more. While the rest of the display can be closed or inactive.

The Samsung did not articulate the specifications of the new screen. But we know that the diagonal of 5 inches, the resolution of 720p, and 16:9 aspect ratio. In this case, the display itself is as thin as paper, and can be rolled up without losing its functionality.



With regard to the demonstrated prototype, it particularly flexible body is different, and call his phone while it is impossible.
