Nokia will release a competitor to the iPhone 5 with a 41-megapixel camera

Nokia is going to unleash the full capabilities of the technology PureView in the smartphone operating system to Windows Phone. The device will be able to do the same high-quality images as Symbian-model PureView 808.

As it became known, Nokia plans to launch the device, called Nokia EOS. It is noteworthy that under the brand Canon EOS Japanese company produces film and digital SLR cameras.

The new flagship smartphone will use the sensor with a resolution of 41 megapixels. One will be able to shoot just a very large images, or engage the PureView. Probably, the same algorithm will be applied in the new smartphone.
