Microsoft has released an additional list of requirements for Office 2013 suite, which reveal how the new company would not be compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista. After excluding the two Operating Systems compatibility list from Internet Explorer 10, the Redmond operates the same choice with Office 2013. Office 2013 is therefore compatible with Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 and obviously with the new Windows 8. The new minimum requirements include:
- Processor 1 GHz CPU x64/x86
- 1GB of memory and 2 GB for x86 Systems x64
- 3 GB of Hard Disk
- Browser IE8, Firefox, 10.x, 17.x Apple Safari or Chrome 5, v3. 5 or higher.
- NET
- A device for the multi-touch
- DirectX 10
- Graphics Card compatible with hardware acceleration
