Windows 7 has been an important milestone reaching 50.2% market share of Operating Systems, defeating all the "rivals", including the long-lived Windows XP . The latest figures released by StatCounter show that Windows 7 is increased from 34.54% to 50.2% during the last year, while the much-loved Windows XP begins to be snubbed by a decrease from 45 to 29.91%. Windows Vista also has decreased going from 12 to 8.32%.
Small improvement for Mac OS X rising from 6.27 to 7%, "nibbling" on Vista its market share remains perhaps the system operating less loved company in Redmond. Apple is scoring good numbers also equipped with a tablet of the IOS, up from a 0.7 to 2.4%.
