iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S III and Nokia Lumia 900: length in Web surfing

Which British portal conducted a survey the most popular smartphones on the market for long battery life devices in web browsing, reports PCweek. Experimenters tested the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S III, Nokia Lumia 900, HTC One X, Sony Xperia S, iPhone 4S and other devices.

According to the study, an unusually large time browsing on a single charge has shown the flagship phone of Samsung - 359 minutes (6 hours), leaving far behind on this parameter main competitor - iPhone 5. According to the Witch, the sixth generation Apple smartphone can work in this mode, use about 200 minutes of battery life (3 hours 20 minutes). Experts attribute this fact to the different capacity built-in battery in the flagship Apple and Samsung - 1440 mAh and 2100 mAh respectively.

The study once again confirms the fact that the size of the battery is important and logical optimization of reach not so easy. However, questions remain about the purity of the experiment. Thus, according to the latest 4-inch iPhone 5 is four times brighter than the screen Galaxy S III, so with equal brightness settings first LCD panel is much more economical than that of a competitor.

Good result demonstrated HTC One X - 226 minutes (over 3.5 hours), and least of all among the reference survived HTC Sensation. Disappointing performance was the model Nokia Lumia 900 - the device survived only 185 minutes (about 3 hours) of continuous web surfing.

Apparently, in the coming years the weakest of smartphones and other portable electronics will be the battery. Diagonal screens grow, increasing the amount of RAM, processors are becoming more voracious, and the devices themselves thinner - it's all done for the sake of fashion manufacturers. Leave a similar progress in the future place of the battery?
