Apple plans to integrate iOS and Mac OS X in 2012

According to analyst Peter Misek of companies Jefferies & Co Apple in 2012, Apple plans to merge into a single platform two of its operating system Mac OS X and iOS, who workon computers and mobile devices, respectively. The first machine, operated by the system will be a laptop MacBook Air next generation.
Some time ago we talked about what a professional line of MacBook Pro notebooks will gradually migrate toward the ultra-thin laptop MacBook Air, due to the compact form factor and the incredible power of the latter, comparable to traditional notebooks .
Post union Mac OS X systems and is planned to create iOS chip Apple A6 , Misek says. This processor dual-core successor to the A5, which is used in tablet iPad 2 and, according to unofficial information, will be installed in next-generation iPhone. The expert believes that, together with iPad tablet and smartphone iPhone Apple A6 processor will appear in the MacBook Air.
It is assumed that the "Air" notebooks will have quad-core processors A6 at the end of 2012 or in 2013. After three years on such chips will be transferred to laptops and MacBook Pro, which are designed for professional use.
Such a step would indeed justified: unification of the platform will reduce development costs and will benefit the entire ecosystem of Apple, since the transition from one type of device to another user will have to deal with a familiar environment.
Convergence of Mac OS X and iOS already underway. The new version of the operating system OS X Lion , was released in late July, has received many interface elements and technologies that are borrowed from iOS.
By the way, Apple is not the only one who thinks about the convergence of mobile and desktop ecosystem. That era ended and a familiar Windows to the 2015-2016 year, Microsoft will release a single platform for all kinds of devices - from PCs to TVs not long ago told a top manager Andrew Fox.
