Samsung Galaxy S III beat iPhone 4S in popularity in Britain

Samsung Galaxy S III became the most popular smartphone in the UK, according to the portal Mobile Tracker, which amounted to a rating based on analysis of search queries on the internet for the past month.
 
The flagship Apple iPhone 4S, who was the leader for almost a year, ousted from the position of the most popular phone on the new smartphone by Samsung. Now the "fruit" gadget takes second place ranking. Before the advent of Galaxy S III took second place Galaxy S II.

In the five most popular were HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy Ace, ranked fourth and fifth places respectively. The sixth position went to Galaxy Note, eighth - HTC One S, followed by HTC One V, and in tenth place - Sony Xperia S.

Galaxy S III was announced May 3 and has caused great excitement in the market. Samsung is positioning the device as a worthy continuation of a series of Galaxy and its main competitor iPhone 4S. Design Galaxy S III is markedly different from its predecessors: a new model of a large screen HD Super AMOLED with a diagonal of 4.8 inches. As regards content, the smartphone running Android 4.0 operating system and is equipped with an analog personal assistant Siri -  S Voice .

Cost Galaxy S III depends on the configuration and varies in different countries. On average, the unlocked version of the phone costs to customers in 600 euros. Mobile operators are also introduced subsidies on the sale contract with a mandatory imprisonment of two years. In this case, the price is 230-250 euros.

Lead Analyst Mobile Tracker believes that the high popularity of Galaxy S III due to the fact that the smartphone has justified the expectations of users.
