The benchmarks represent a controversial tool to quantify the performance of the smartphone. Some people like them and who, by contrast, focuses on the actual experience of use of the device regardless of the test results. Waiting to assess specifically the performance of HTC X One, we offer an interesting comparison test starring HTC X One, the Sensation XL and Samsung Nexus Galaxy after that of which we dealt with last week.
These are three smartphone very different from each other and based on hardware platforms that appear to three different generations. HTC Sensation XL uses a single core SoC, the Galaxy Nexus a dual-core, while the HTC X One Tegra 3 quad-core CPU. In the video, we propose the following benchmarks were used Quadrant, Nenamark 2, Linpack , and the last part, after the test made on the display even a Speedtest with smartphones connected to a Wi-Fi.
The performance above all suspicion of HTC X One are not in question due to the high performance quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 platform. The gap with single core devices like the HTC Sensation XL is evident, although the latter, as we have been able to ascertain during the month, offers a very rewarding in daily use, beyond benchmark results.
