Intel calls to increase the resolution of screens: 13-inch ultrabook could have a resolution of 2800 x 1800 pixels

The starting point for determining the screen resolution, for obvious reasons, were taken possibility of human vision. By the way, even the Apple iPad tablet screen barely up to this assessment: given the amount of 9.7 inches with resolution of 2048 x 1536, it is characterized by a density of 264 dots per inch.
This means that for smartphones with five-inch screens, located at a distance of 30-40 cm from the eye, it is optimal resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Tablet with a screen size of 10 inches, usually dealt with the same distance, must have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Ultrabook with screens measuring 11 and 13 inches, according to Intel, should have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 2800 x 1800 pixels. For notebooks with screens measuring 15 inches specified resolution 3840 x 2160 pixels. The same resolution, according to Intel, should get a one-piece PC screens and 21 inch sizes.
The Intel expects that the transition to displays with high pixel density will begin next year.
